There is a lot going on for the Seniors in our church.
The Senior Persons Outreach Team - SPOT - provides social and spiritual activities to encourage and care for our older folk.
Create and Craft Afternoons
An opportunity to awaken your creativity! Meet on the first Tuesday of each month from 2.00pm - 3.30pm, come and join us for an afternoon of creative activity. It's a time of fun and friendship - not great artistry, beginners definitely welcome. Each month we will have a selection of different crafts to try.
Pilgrims
Meet on the second Tuesday of each month for lunch at 12.30 followed by a spiritual reflection which is both varied and enjoyable and often educational. We finish about 3:00pm. There is a token charge for lunch and coffee of £4.50.
Friendship
Meet the third Tuesday of each month from 2:00 - 3:30pm and offers seasonal refreshments, reflections and reminiscing , such as Easter, Christmas or wartime memories. Subjects from Arts to Zebras!
T Set
Meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 2:00 - 3.30pm. Based on a games afternoon, T Set offers tea and biscuits, fun and friendship, plus the chance to play cards, scrabble, Uno - whatever you enjoy! There is also the opportunity to do a few gentle exercises to music.
Daycation
Enjoy superb themed days during the summer in the company of friends - it includes delicious meals, games, craft, entertainers, cinema experience and tea!
You are always welcome to join us for any of these activities if you are around during the day, you do not have to be a senior citizen!
