A day to inspire, encourage and equip all those with a heart for worship.

Following on from two other worship days in 2006 and 2007, this worship day reaches out even more to all those who have a heart for worship, whether they are musicians with leading roles, or worshippers within the congregation.

This year, our special guests are “Phatfish” a band that have been performing together and leading thousands in worship over the last 14 years. As well as being a highly respected 'gigging' band with several best selling albums to their credit, they are also very experienced worship musicians. They have led worship at many high profile events in Europe and North America, and have worked with many of today's best known worship leaders including Stuart Townend, Matt Redman, Tim Hughes and Graham Kendrick.

Phatfish

Our worship day has two parts, and you are invited to either or both.

• The afternoon, starting at 1.45 is an opportunity to worship, and to develop skills in a variety of seminars. These cover a wide spectrum of themes – from practical musical skills such as guitar and vocals, to more general themes such as a painting worship workshop (all materials provided) a creative prayer room, kids songs resources and signing as part of worship. • After a two hour break – time to explore the local restaurants, take-aways or to eat your picnic, the evening session, starting at 8.00 is itself in two parts – the first half being a Phatfish concert, and after an interval, a worship celebration. This promises to be a wonderful opportunity to encounter God and worship Him with renewed zeal. Phatfish will be performing a selection of their best loved songs, before leading a dynamic time of corporate worship. Expect to come and meet with an Amazing God!
