Now that we have the banners up, we are also displaying the leaflets from Kerto who, with lots of prayer, created them for us.  If you are interested in having your own pictures please see the reception desk for details.

Open House There is a leaflet on the stands all about Open House; caring for people suffering from the effects of homelessness, unemployment, loneliness, discrimination or social exclusion.  There is a Main Day centre open seven days a week and two Hostel's; Riversida House and Southwell Lodge.

The Oasis Crisis pregnancy centre have baby clothing, prams and buggies, cots and much more.  Free and good as new.  Please contact 01403 272723 to donate any items or to receive any.  Please see leaflet stands for details.

There is a leaflet on the notice board about domestic violence is a crime in any language with a phone number should you or anyone you know every need it.

There is an in Focus magazine on the leaflet stands - all about connecting churches with people groups in Africa and Asia..

There are Baptist Union magazines (bugb) in the leaflet stands for you to read.

Carers Support Service have a leaflet with their news, meetings and courses, there is all sorts of helpful things in the leaflet from free benefit checks for over 60's to help with coucil tax bills. There is a leaflet listing the associations and their numbers ie. diabetic association.  Please see the reception desk for more details.

Adur and Wothing Community Partnership Team, see the leaflets on information on how the team are helping older people do their shopping or cleaning and reduce the social isolation that some of them are living with.

The Haven Crisis Pregnancy Centre in Crawley offer baby clothing and equipment free of charge - so any donation you could make would be appreciated, please see the notice on the notice board at the back of the church.

There are also Inspire Magazines with stories to lift your spirits these can be found on the leaflet stands.

We are building good links with the Crawley Police and to this end they have given us a monthly newsletter for our perusal.  These can be found on the leaflet stands.

There is an Expert Patients Programme; a course for people living with any chronic long term illness, called ‘Living well’ which is a free self management course, held by the NHS primary Care Trust. For more details look in our new Spotlight Magazine, launched this month and in the November newsletter.

SEBA South Eastern Baptist Association have a leaflet that shows all our associated churchs for this area and others, across the south east there are nine geographical networks.  If you are interested please see the leaflet stands.

SEBA and Kent Thameside Church Project The redevolpment of Kent Thames side, is an opportunity to let people encounter Christians as they move in and settle, to help them to discover that God, through Christ, wants to help them to discover His rich and unchanging love, and perhaps to church plant in the future.  To do this SEBA need your help; your prayers and any financial gifts or visits to the area.  Please see the leaflet stands for details.

Contact Centre explains how it is a place where children of separated families can enjoy contact with one or both parents in a relaxed comfortable and safe environment.  Please see the leaflet stands for more details.

The Base project holds various support groups;

  • SPOT is ‘Supporting parents of teenagers’, which is an 8 week course held on a Wednesday evening from 7pm till 9pm at Bewbush Children’s Centre. The next course starts on 16th Jan 2008.

  • Teddy Tots is a toddler group held every Wednesday during term time at Bewbush Community Centre from 9.15am to 11.15 am.

  • Bumps and Babes is for expectant mothers and babies up to 6 months old, it is held on a Friday from 9.30am to 11am at Bewbush Children’s Centre.

  • Huggies is a group for parents under 21years old, it is held on a Monday from 12.30 till 2.30pm at Broadfield Children’s Centre, and on a Thursday from 12.30 to 2.30pm at West Green Youth Centre.
